 Leighton S.P. PrabhuB.Com (McGill), M.Phil (Cantab), CA, CPA Mr. Prabhu is a co-founder of Interstice Consulting and currently serves as the Managing Director of the firm. Mr. Prabhu has consulted to a wide range of organizations on financial policies, corporate development, financing, strategy and privatization, in both developed and emerging markets. During his prior careers, Mr. Prabhu has been a senior investment banker and project financier with the JPMorgan Chase, BankAmerica and PricewaterhouseCoopers organizations, with regional responsibility for Asia-Pacific and Central & Eastern Europe. During this time he arranged billions of dollars in financing for infrastructure and related industries. He has also been a team leader for several high-profile project finance advisory assignments and cross-border acquisitions and joint ventures in Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe. More recently, he has served as a consultant to the global banking sector, to emerging media and technology companies, and to international financial institutions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Prabhu practiced as a public accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young, and also worked in the public sector at Investment Canada, an agency of the Canadian government charged with attracting foreign direct investment. Currently based in Moscow, he has served on the Board of Directors of the Canada-Eurasia-Russia Business Association (CERBA) and has been a featured speaker at several international conferences focused on Russia, including Euromoney's Syndicated Lending in Russia & CIS, Emerging Trends in Real Estate, Canada-Russia Business Council, and Canada-Russia Roundtable on Corporate Social Responsibility and Public-Private Partnership. Mr. Prabhu has also delivered lectures at the Higher School of Economics and at the Investor Relations Institute, and is a member of the Independent Directors Association of Russia. Mr. Prabhu holds a B.Com in accounting and finance from McGill University (Great Distinction), where he was a James McGill Scholar and was awarded the graduating medal in Finance. He holds a Master's degree in Management from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. Mr. Prabhu has also earned a Certificate in E-Commerce Business Development from New York University, is a qualified Chartered Accountant in Canada and Certified Public Accountant in the USA, and has undertaken Russian language training at Moscow State University (Lomonosov). |
